Set the Monthly Follow-Up You'll Never Skip
Every practitioner knows they should send some sort of follow-up communication with past clients. This ain’t something you’ve never heard before.
But almost nobody does it because they get busy with life, with work, and they just forget to do it.
The marketing tactic that keeps you top of mind to existing clients isn’t the communication itself. It’s the lack of consistency in doing it — it’s the lack of a system.
Here’s today’s quick assignment. Open your calendar, and create one monthly recurring appointment with yourself. Do it the same day every month. When that time comes, you send a short note to a batch of past clients. The goal is to show up consistently, and that starts with actually scheduling the time.
You don’t need to design the perfect postcard, write the perfect letter, or lay out the perfect email. You just need to start with setting aside the time. That way, the decision is already made for future-you, the time is already carved out.
So open your calendar. Set a repeating monthly appointment with yourself titled “Client Touch - Send something human.”
The reminder is the trigger. Everything else is just showing up when you say you will.
